Our story
Thistle & Twine was born from a simple belief: that beauty care should feel as natural as a walk through the mountains. Mara Thompson opened these doors in Bozeman, MT after years of studying botanical skincare and growing frustrated with the chemical-heavy, conveyor-belt approach she saw in big salons. She wanted something different — a place where the products come from the earth and the experience nourishes your whole self.
Every product on our shelves is either handmade in-house or sourced from small-batch makers who share our values. You'll find dried wildflowers, Montana beeswax, herbal tinctures, and clay masks that Mara formulates herself through the seasons. Nothing we wouldn't put on our own skin — ever.
